Water balance as a form of scenario for irrigation water use management
Abstract
Authors proposed the method of scenarios preparation for managing the use of water resources on irrigated lands. The approach is based on the consideration the integrated management of water resources use as a process of balancing water intake for objects with it next consumption, with requirements to minimize technological filtration and discharges. The Scenario of management is based on the balance principle, according to which water management balances are the form of scenarios expression. The methodological approach involves assessing the current state of water resources on the basis of compiling current water balance sheets and determining appropriate water use indicators, establishing permanent trends in the latter from the factors determining the formation of priority (optimal) scenarios.
